I am a senior quantitative researcher at Citadel Securities, leading a team of researchers developing alphas using statistical learning and deep learning.

Previously, I worked on large-scale machine learning systems as a research scientist at Bloomberg AI. This includes classifications of company, people, and topics for news and research documents.

I obtained my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering at HKUST, where I worked with Prof. Huamin Qu. My thesis focus on making machine learning systems explainable. I have been awarded the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. Prior to HKUST, I received my B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minor in Economics from Tsinghua University in 2016.
